The New Jersey Decorating Exchange is about
to celebrate its first anniversary. We have succeeded in giving
the Garden State a facility that brings the atmosphere of manhattan's
Decorating & Design Building and the New York Furniture and
Design center to New Jersey. With over a constant influx of new
resources the Exchange represents over 150 showrooms. the exchange
has centralized 3600 fabric books, 150,000 hanging fabric samples,
1000 wall paper books, 30,000 hanging wall paper and matching fabric
samples, and over 100 furniture lines previously sold through designers
and architects only. The new Jersey Designer no longer has to go
to New York.
Never the less, the distinguishing characteristics
of the New Jersey Decorating Exchange is that, unlike the Decorating
and Design building and the new York Furniture and Design center,
our facility is open to the public. In order to make the process
of Home Design more accessible to the greater portion of society,
those without a personnel decorator, decorator, or architect on
staff, the New Jersey Decorating Exchange employs a team of designers
who are licensed to represent these exclusive fabrics, wall papers
and furniture. The Decorating exchange is not a store but a full
resource for design and decorating! Finally New Jersey has its own
decorating and design building!
In addition, one of the strongest aspects of NJDX
is the complete and highly professional Shop-at-Home
Decorating Service. Our design expertswill assist you, at no charge,
to create custom window treatments, bedding, reupholstery, slipcovers
and wallpaper. Everything is crafted in our own custom workrooms,
and is measured and installed by experienced & considerate team.
